The key to our future is efficiency and that is where this new technology has an important role to play. Using the power of the magnet, our new technology has endless applications and could conserve billions of dollar in energy. It's straightforward, simplistic design allows for great versatility. This frictionless, magnetic coupling transfers rotation to reciprocation and vice versa. By aligning the magnetic fields in a perpendicular geometry, we can efficiently leverage the energy stored within the magnets. Regardless of size, shape, strength, or whether made from plastic or rare earth, the effect remains the same. The magnetic cog works by equal and calculable constants of repulsion and attraction between magnets.

Cog

Stage 1: The reciprocating magnet is aligned perpendicularly between two rotor magnets. The rotor magnets are pushing on both sides of the reciprocating magnet.

Stage 2: A linear motion of the reciprocating magnet will cause the rotor magnets to rotate about their shared axis to align with opposite poles. The rotation of the rotor will pull / push the reciprocator.

Gear

Placing a duplicate rotor above the reciprocating magnet creates a geared effect between the magnetic fields (this can also be done using a duplicate reciprocator as shown below).

The unique and simplistic design allows for limitless expansion. You can add multiple rotor and reciprocator magnets to increase torque and/or push - pull force.

The magnet has been the cornerstone of the modern world. Until now without an electromagnet, magnets can do little more than hold items on your refrigerator. The commutator is attached to the axle that controls the voice coil: the axle rotates, changing the polarity to the voice coil, which causes reciprocation.

Operating Temperature only - 101° Fahrenheit. By contrast, the 11" fan blades mounted on the motor that it came on when purchased - 1,050 RPM, 24 watts operating temp 148°F.

Note: Power ON for only 60% of each Rotation. RPM increase by Volts to the Voice Coil.

This is the second prototype motor. It is example of how the Kundel Magnetic Coupling device can be utilized. The motor's efficiency surpasses all our expectations. For a comparisons, look at the amount of copper wire used for the work performed versus a typical motor. This simple motor was built to show two very important characteristics of the magnetic coupling:
  1. The efficiency of the energy transfer from reciprocation to rotation.
  2. The size and shape of the magnet does not matter, the link remains the same.
